Ecco Balustrades stocks a range of the highest quality imported 316L stainless steel spigots to suit all frameless pool fence and balcony balustrades applications.

The spigots are available as core drill types for fixing into tiled concrete slabs, as well as a baseplated version for bolting to a timber deck.

The most popular type of spigots sold are friction clamp spigots where there is no need for drilled holes in the toughened glass to take a bolt through the spigot to hold the glass. Friction spigots have a compression plate that can be pressure screwed inside of the spigot onto the face of the glass so as to clamp the glass in place.

12mm toughened glass panels are used together with the spigots to result in a pool fence or balustrade which will conform to BCA & Australian standards AS1170.1, AS1170.2.

For jobs that require specifications for unusually heavy windloads, Ecco also have available bolt through spigots. Usually these spigots are installed together with 15mm thick toughened glass in heavy windload areas with large glass sizes.
